About The Stage Fright Cure

We can cure stage fright? Yes, we can.

What most people commonly offer is how to manage stage fright, not cure it, but
Marti MacEwan, MA, has a new approach so you can be free of your stage fright, in any setting.

A cure for stage fright would have to make a real change that lasts. Whether you choose to call it stage fright, fear of public speaking, performance anxiety or something else, you can get over it.

Marti has had huge success with hundreds of clients and class participants when she approaches a cure for stage fright from a psychological and physiological perspective. Any cure for stage fright must eliminate the inner sense of “Perceived Threat” that very often is completely unconscious until we are confronted with the real situation. There is a way to eliminate that sense of perceived threat and therefore eliminate the “fight, flight or freeze” response that we experience as stage fright.

Marti’s approach is a unique mind/body method that includes the original Rapid Relief Process(tm), a comprehensive set of mind/body techniques she co-developed with her colleague, Stephanie Eldringhoff, MA, LMFT, also a therapist.

The Rapid Relief Process is a method that literally dismantles the physical fear response.

How do we cure stage fright?

By Marti’s definition, “stage fright” is the fear that comes up around doing anything for someone else’s enjoyment or consideration. Each person’s version of stage fright is unique.

Marti says, “any stage fright in any setting is impeded energy. And the opposite, confidence, is unimpeded energy.”

For you, it may come up with an audience of one, a few, or thousands. There may be a formal stage or not. It might be in the business world, the professions, the arts, sales, education or personal situations. You may experience a pounding heart, trembling, cold clammy hands and feet, nausea, difficulty concentrating or responding to your surroundings. Each person is different.

But the common cause is that for some reason, your conscious or unconscious system perceives the situation you are in as an emotional threat. That creates “impeded energy” in your system. Marti knows specific techniques to move from “impeded energy
to “unimpeded energy” in the same circumstances.

To truly eliminate any kind of stage fright, you have to discover and eliminate the personal inner threat that is causing your reaction. This is the main difference between other methods and Marti’s Stage Fright Cure.

With the Stage Fright Cure, you will eliminate those uncomfortable physical sensations, the fight, flight or freeze symptoms, that are triggered from the inside and prompt you to say you have stage fright in the first place. That’s the cure for stage fright.

After all, the only reason you would say you have stage fright is that you experience those physical symptoms. Right?

Most approaches will just teach you a variety of techniques to manage your stage fright at best. This approach teaches you how to cure your stage fright by actually eliminating the mind-body link that produces your fear sensations in the first place.

This is not just a set of superficial suggestions, positive thinking, hypnosis or “mind over matter”. This is a way to be free of those stage fright symptoms altogether.

Without those nerves firing off in your body, you can be comfortable. Once you are comfortable, you can relax into your purpose and experience the true pleasure of freely presenting whatever you have to offer. When you are comfortable, you can find that easy confidence when you are doing anything while you are the center of attention.

Marti knows the true cause of your stage fright, and she knows the cure for stage fright. In The Stage Fright Cure book, videos and classes, she shows you how you can get to the point of honestly saying, “I used to have stage fright, but I don’t anymore!”

What comes with The Stage Fright Cure book?

This is more than a book. It’s a book-video combination package. The Stage Fright Cure is more of a
